An old Lancashire story relating the apparition of a ghostly specter and his familiar, a large scraggy white hare. They appear on the coastal road at Bardsea, a small town across Morecambe Bay, striking fear into man and beast.

Jacqueline and I have returned to this story to tell it in a way that is as least as visual as it is verbal, through photographs of sculptures and reliefs as well as new work in ink and graphite working in joyful collaboration with photographer Scott David Jackson. We are hoping to publish it around Easter this year.
