A short (15 minute) studio portrait created by Andy Walmsley for The Artistry House. Marjan explains why animals remain such a source of inspiration and why they make compelling subjects for public sculpture. She introduces us to the folkloric Lancashire story of the Dun Cow of Parlick; how she explored the subject originally on a very small scale and how it started her on a journey, which led her to imagine the piece in steel on a large scale and install it back in the landscape that gave rise to the story.
